Valentine’s Day is a busy night for many people, and this may include the person who regularly watches your kids. If you don’t want to spend your Valentine’s dinner in a fast food play area, you’ll be glad to know that there are many things that you can do to ensure that you’ll have a babysitter. Here are a couple of tips from our child care providers in Monroe to help:

#1. Give yourself plenty of time to find a sitter.

If you want to make sure that you’ll have a sitter for Valentine’s Day, you absolutely cannot wait until the last minute. You’ll need to start searching early. Even though Valentine’s Day isn’t for another couple of weeks, it’s a good idea to start your search now. This way, you can book one before other desperate parents get ahold of them.

#2. Think outside the box for your Valentine’s plans.

Dinner is often the traditional Valentine’s Day event, which is why it’s always typically the most difficult time to find a sitter If you’re having trouble finding a babysitter during the evening, change your plans up a little. Instead of the classic Valentine’s dinner, have a Valentine’s lunch or choose to celebrate the day before or after.
